IRIS FLOWER



      Iris flower is described as a flower type or a ancient Greek goddess. The meaning of iris flower is "rainbow" in Greek. It is a flower that can bloom in very so much colors. For example, we can see yellow, blue, purple, white, orange etc. It is known for the most blue color and sometimes purple color in nature. White iris flower symbolizes purity. Blue iris flower symbolizes faith and hope. Purple iris flower symbolizes wisdom. And finally yellow iris flower symbolizes ambition. As well as, susen flower's symbol is this flower too.
    People believe that iris flower is transferring the god's messages and take women's spirits to underworld. This flower is one of the flowers that Van Gogh likes to picturize. Iris flower symbolizes "death" in pictures. It is known for grave flower Turkish culture. It is a flower that can say ''goodbye'' but protect its haughtiness so it is a little sad flower. 
    Iris flower's smell is legendary. It is one of the flowers that has been a guest of famoust perfumes because of its nice smell. It is one of the flowers that has been in Lancome-Tresor perfume. Other flowers are rose, amber, sandalwood etc. It is known for as nowruz flower in some region. As well, nowruz flower symbolizes spring feast. People used to dry iris flower in book or notebook tweens in old times and used to believe to bring good luck.
      IN MYTHOLOGY IRIS FLOWER:
    Iris flower's story is mythological. Iris is an ancient Greek goddess comes from Okeanos's lineage. Iris is Thaumas and Electra's daughter. The god of gods Zeus gives to Iris the task of carrying news from the sky to the earth. The reason of this, it connect the earth with the sky. Iris always carry the happy news. While Zeus was transferring the happy news, Zeus always use "Iris".
      IRIS FLOWER'S STORY:
    Iris flower meaning in Latin is the eye of heaven. It gets its name from this goddess because of its color, line. Because it's color and line look like to eye icon. In ancient Greece, every person carries a piece of heaven is believed. The reason of this, all people have pupil. Iris flower is one of the most trational symbols. And finally iris flower symbolizes female elegance too.

   SUBJECT AND INFORMATIONS ABOUT THIS MOVIE   The green mile is a drama movie made in 1999. Frank Darabont is the director and screenwriter of the movie. The movie adapted from Stephen King's the novel "Same". The subject is this: John Coffey, a big man, was sentenced to death for the crime of killing two little girls. He looks scary but has a very thin and complex inner world. Also he has some extraordinary powers. The dialogue between them starts when Paul Edgecomb, the most authoritative guardian of the prison, asked him if he was really guilty. When Edgecomb was sick he heals because of Coffey's extraordinary powers and events start to thrive. Coffey releases the diseases he draws into himself from his mouth because of his extraordinary powers and continues his life. All Edgecomb's thoughts about Coffey changes when he noticed Coffey's powers. Coffey creates miracles because of these powers and Edgecomb thinks this miracle should contiune to live...
